These gears are banded with 2 rings for identification. Laygear still uses 3 bearings on layshaft.

Do not mix and match with other gears that have same teeth counts unless they have the same 2 identification bands

Always select 1st and 4th gears plus reverse when locking up gearbox for dismantling and assembly.
